Salvador DALÍ

Salvador DALÍ

Salvador Dalí (Figueras, 1904-1989) is a key figure in the surrealist movement and one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. Although his prolific work focuses primarily on painting, he explored sculpture, cinema, set design, jewelry and costume design, and writing.

Salvador Dalí made surrealism his own, adapting it to his taste and style. His characteristic style is defined by an indisputable technical perfection, present in every detail, with which he represents his particular and unsettling universe. An unconscious world that he masterfully captured, making him a painter of dreams and one of the most representative artists of surrealism.

"I am in every way the opposite of fables. Especially that of the wolf and the lamb. When I threaten with a project, I am believed, no matter how absurd it may be."
